Drive-In is a video player. It has no accounts and no sign-in, shows no ads, contains no analytics or tracking code, and never sells or shares anything about you. The developer never receives your playlists, your logins, or what you watch.

Stays on your iPhone

Your sources: playlist links, Xtream server addresses and usernames
Passwords and private playlist links, kept in the iPhone Keychain

What Drive-In stores, and where

Everything Drive-In knows is stored on your device. Passwords, and playlist links that contain a password, are kept in the iPhone Keychain. Channel lists and TV guides are cached in files that iOS encrypts while your iPhone is locked. Favorites, history and settings are stored in the app's own storage.

Drive-In has no server of its own and no account system, so there is nothing about you on our side to see, share or lose. Drive-In does not sync anything to iCloud today. If sync is added, it will use your own private iCloud storage, and this page will say so first.

Who Drive-In talks to

The servers you add

When you add or refresh a source, open a TV guide, or play something, Drive-In connects directly to the addresses in that source: the playlist or Xtream server, its guide, its channel logos and posters, and its streams. Like any website, those servers see your IP address and what is requested. Their own privacy policies apply; Drive-In does not control them.

Apple

Buying Drive-In Pro goes through the App Store. Apple handles the payment, and the app receives only Apple's signed confirmation that Pro is unlocked — never your payment details. If you have turned on “Share with App Developers” in iPhone Settings, Apple may send the developer anonymous crash reports.

AirPlay

When you choose an AirPlay device, video is sent over your network to that device.

What Drive-In never does

No account or sign-in
No analytics, advertising or tracking — Drive-In does not use the advertising identifier
No selling or sharing of data with anyone
No access to your contacts, location, camera or microphone
No access to your photo library — the iPhone's picker gives the app only the video you choose

Deleting your data

Deleting a source in Drive-In removes its channels, favorites, history and saved password. Deleting the app removes everything else. iOS can keep Keychain entries after an app is deleted, so if you want saved logins gone right away, delete your sources in the app first.

Children

Drive-In is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.
